SONOS CLUB : REMIXIA

Emilia and Rebecca come together to form the London based dj duo REMIXIA. their core sound is rooted in afro-electronic music (afrohouse/tech and 3-step), however they also fuse melodic tech and house in their sets creating memorable and dynamic experiences when they play.

How would you describe the emotions or energy you try to bring to your sets?

REMIXIA: We always tailor our sets to the crowd, with the intention of maintaining a consistently high level of energy from beginning to end, regardless of the size of the audience.

What keeps you inspired and motivated when you hit creative or personal challenges?

Beyond music, how do you see yourself in the world—what drives you and your purpose?

REMIXIA: We have certainly faced challenges within the industry, and those experiences have played an important role in shaping how we approach our craft. Rather than allowing obstacles to hold us back, we see them as opportunities for growth and learning.

SONOS CLUB is an initiative from Sounds of Craft Records, designed to highlight the eclectic electronic music scene through the perspectives of the BIPOC diaspora and marginalized communities, while being open to all.
